  • How do I apply each product in my skin care system?
    Directions: Use complete system morning and evening (twice daily). Splash the face and eyes generously with slightly warm water. 1st apply a small amount of your cleanser to your face, neck and eye area using gentle circular motions. Rinse well. Repeat or use with a clean washcloth to remove heavy makeup. 2nd apply the appropriate MC Toner and/or Serum to give your skin a generous amount of antioxidants and hydration. 3rd apply your MC Moisturizer. (if using an Acne or Cystic Acne System) apply your MC Acne Defense or Anti-Blemish Serum spot treater. Please note: spot treaters should ONLY be applied to bumps or blemishes. Do NOT use spot treaters all over your face. Last apply MC Sunscreen (SPF 30).   • What's the difference between a facial and corrective treatment?
    A basic facial simply includes cleanse, followed by minor exfoliation, steam and minimal extractions (if needed). Our corrective skin care treatments are customized by your specific skin condition. Which could include; eczema, acne, rosacea (redness & ittitation), sensitive/rash, hyperpigmentation (uneven skin tone), dry/dehydrated, hyperkeratizined, folliculitis (razor bumps), combination-to-oily skin, fine lines, wrinkles, large pores, blackheads, whiteheads, cystic acne and a variety of other skin conditions that a basic facial or Microdermabrasion will NOT correct.
  • What is your service cancellation policy?
    To cancel or reschedule your appointment, please call us within 72 hours (3-days) prior to your scheduled appointment date to avoid a $50 late cancellation fee. Thank You! - Management
  • What are your HSA & FSA eligible products & services?
    The Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security (CARES) Act of 2020 expanded the list of includible expenses for HSA (Health Savings Account). Under CARES Act rules, you can now also use your HSA to pay for Acne Treatments & Acne Products. You can also use an FSA (Flexible Spending Account) card to pay for both over-the-counter acne products and acne treatments. These include acne-targeted facial cleansers, spot treatments, body washes, sprays, gels, sunscreen (SPF) and more. Cosmetic procedures like acid peels, facials, face lifts, laser hair removal and Cryolipolysis fat freeze treatments are not FSA eligible expenses. Please Note: this list could change based on updated regulations, revenue rulings and case law. Your employer may also limit which expenses are allowable under their FSA or HRA plan offering. You may need an official diagnosis from your physician in order to use your HSA to cover certain healthcare expenses without a tax penalty. If you’re unsure what your HSA, FSA or HRA requirements are, it’s a good idea to check with your healthcare plan administrator first to find out exactly what’s covered and when a doctor’s note may be necessary. If your benefits card is accidentally or intentionally utilized for ineligible expenses, you are responsible for reimbursing your account. You will be notified if you have an ineligible expense, and your benefits card could be deactivated until your account is reimbursed. It is a good idea to make sure your HSA or FSA card will be accepted at our point-of-sale system PRIOR to the start of your service or you will be responsible to pay for your products and services out-of-pocket.
  • What are Extractions?
    Extraction is a corrective technique that safely removes blackheads, bumps, cyst and drains inflamed acne impactions and release trapped ingrown hairs when possible. Possible Side Effects May Include: Temporary scarring, discoloration, mild tenderness, redness, swelling, sensitivity, flaking and small scabs. Superficial dark spots can occur when old or deep cyst are extracted and are normal and mostly temporary (varies by skin type). Superficial blemishes may also occur. The use of sun protection is recommended as part of your daily regimen. Please Note: Extractions may be included during your service (if needed). Please inform your Aesthetician prior to the start of your service if you do NOT wish to have extractions.
